“Hello! I have been a member for one year. I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, and I moved to Texas four years ago. I have been an artist for as long as I can remember, and I am best known for my acrylic fluid pour art and 3D art. However, I truly have a passion for mixed media. It is an honor to be the Gallery Manager for the Beaumont Art League. I look forward to expanding our love for the arts and sharing it with a wider audience. With my creativity and skills, I aim to bring a fresh perspective this year, explore new opportunities, and maintain an organized approach to ensure a welcoming space for our community and local artists. “

“I am returning to the Vice President seat for a second year. My passion is supporting local artists and helping lead community programs. This year, my focus is on writing grants that fund outreach efforts, including the beloved I HEART ART initiative for children and young adults.
My commitment to all BAL committees reflects how I share my love for creativity within the organization.
In addition to my nonprofit work, I run my own business, which keeps me constantly on the move. I balance my professional life with being an active, hands-on mother.
Whether I’m in the studio, at a community event, or at home, I do my best to bring energy, care, and purpose to everything I do.”

"My name is Chloe Thompson, and I am a proud new board member! I work at Lamar University at the Dishman Art Museum, so come say hi! I have a BFA from Lamar in Studio Art Drawing, as well as a BS in Biology. I'm currently pursuing my MPH here at Lamar and simultaneously working on an MA in Art History. I love education and I love art!"

"I have been a resident of Beaumont for most of my life, serving as our Education Committee chair. I graduated with a degree in Drafting from LIT, a degree in Secondary Art Ed from UT-Austin and I have taught both subjects in the public school system. While my primary focus is pencil and silverpoint, I enjoy experiments with different media and enjoys sharing what I have learned with others to see the exciting things they produce."

"Some say...People are the same no matter where you go. This is true in general; BUT me, having lived all over: ARKANSAS, CA, NY, IL, DE, WV TN, TX., I see a very unique quality in SETX. Whether it's caused by the wild weather or spicy gumbo, people here are energized with a very bright creative spark. I am happy to be proud of all the artists and to volunteer to promote their work.
